Mark Borneleit
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Borneleit is one of the founders of DME Express and serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CE0). Mark has over 25 years of finance, healthcare and operating experience. In addition to serving as the CEO of DME Express and building the Nation’s largest direct hospice DME provider, Mark has also held executive level positions in finance and business development for a $100+ million revenue, multi-state hospice provider. Prior to his career in the DME and hospice industries, Mark spent 10 years as an investment banker assisting rapidly growing middle market companies with raising equity and debt financing and advising companies on merger & acquisition related activities.
Curtis Spencer
President
Curtis Spencer is one of the founders of DME Express and serves as the company’s President. Curtis has over 25 years of healthcare sales & marketing, business development and operating experience. Prior to building the Nation’s largest direct hospice DME provider, Curtis helped build and manage the largest hospice DME provider in the State of Oklahoma, and held a senior management role with a $200 million, 20+ facility nursing facility operator. Curtis began his healthcare career with Beverly Enterprises (now Golden Living) as an Area Director of Sales and Marketing, with responsibility for increasing the occupancy of a dozen long-term care facilities.
Tabatha Sweet
Chief Operating Officer
Tabatha Sweet is an accomplished executive leader with nearly 20 years experience in the hospice DME industry. Tabatha serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), and is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s field and internal operations to ensure the highest level of customer service and execution of the company’s strategic goals. In her role as COO, Tabatha is highly focused on process improvement, implementing advanced technologies, and increasing operational efficiencies. Prior to joining DME Express, Tabatha held senior leadership roles managing customer service, dispatch and field operations for DME providers serving average daily hospice census ranging from 3,000 to 65,000 patients.
Alex Newton, CFA, CMA
Chief Financial Officer
Alex Newton serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer leading the finance, technology, accounting, and planning functions. With over 25 years of experience senior level experience in the technology, services, and manufacturing industries, Alex has executed dozens of acquisitions and integrations, raised capital, modernized finance and operations functions, and built teams to scale companies in rapidly growing industries for both private equity backed and publicly traded fortune 500 companies. Alex received both a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Texas, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Management Accountant.

Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Christie is dedicated to delivering exceptional value to our hospice partners. With a strong background in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sales, she understands the unique challenges hospice providers face and is committed to creating streamlined, effective solutions. Driven by a passion for improving patient care, she focuses on innovative strategies that enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless access to essential medical equipment.
Ashley Johnson
Chief Human Resource Officer
Ashley Johnson (PHR) serves as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of DME Express, bringing over 15 years of senior leadership experience with publicly traded and privately held companies in the healthcare, service and retail industries. In her role as CHRO, Ashley manages the company’s recruiting, hiring and retention efforts, to ensure DME Express is staffed with the industry’s most highly qualified employees that support the company’s mission of providing the highest quality DME service to our customers and their patients. Other critical functions managed by Ashley include organization development, employee relations, and payroll and benefits administration. Ashley received a BA in Psychology from Oklahoma State University, and holds professional certifications from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
