Mark Borneleit

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mark Borneleit is one of the founders of DME Express and serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Borneleit has over 25 years of finance, healthcare and operating experience. In addition to serving as the CEO of DME Express and building the Nation’s largest hospice DME service provider, Mr. Borneleit has also held executive level positions in finance and business development for a $100+ million revenue, multi-state hospice provider. Prior to his career in the DME and hospice industries, Mr. Borneleit spent 12 years as an institutional investor and investment banker, securing capital to fund growth and acquisition opportunities for rapidly growing, privately held companies.

Curtis Spencer

PRESIDENT

Curtis Spencer is one of the founders of DME Express and serves as the company’s President. Mr. Spencer has over 25 years of healthcare sales & marketing, business development and operating experiences. Prior to developing the Nation’s largest hospice DME service provider, Mr. Spencer held a senior management role with a $200 million, 20+ facility nursing home chain. Mr. Spencer began his healthcare career with Beverly Enterprises (now Golden Living) as an Area Director of Sales and Marketing, with responsibility for increasing the occupancy of a dozen long-term care facilities.

Tabatha Sweet

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Tabatha Sweet is an accomplished executive leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the hospice DME industry, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at DME Express. She oversees all aspects of the company’s operations to support its rapid growth and has a proven track record of driving results through process improvements, advanced technologies, and a focus on operational efficiencies.

Throughout her career, Tabatha has held senior leadership positions focused on Hospice DME, serving as much as 65,000 average daily census. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple nationwide locations, managing teams of over 100 employees and handling operational responsibilities for as many as 200+ employees in areas such as dispatching, customer relations, and warehouse management. Her expertise spans business development, logistics, financial analysis, and project management, with a particular emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing productivity.

Alex E. Newton, CFA, CMA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Alex Newton serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer leading the accounting, finance, and planning functions. With over 25 years of experience across technology, services, and manufacturing, Mr. Newton has executed acquisitions and led integrations, raised capital, modernized finance and operations functions, and built teams to scale companies in rapidly growing industries for both private equity backed and publicly traded fortune 500 companies.

Alex graduated with his BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas, MBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Management Accountant.

DME Express has been accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) since the last decade. ACHC was established in 1985 by home care providers and currently offers 3 CMS approved accreditation programs for Hospice, Home Health and DMEPOS.
