Chief Executive Officer – Mark Borneleit is one of the founders of DME Express and serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Borneleit has over 20 years of finance, healthcare and operating experience. Prior to DME Express, Mr. Borneleit spent 6 years as Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Corporate Development for a $50 million, 1,000 census, multi-state hospice provider. Prior to his career in DME and hospice, Mr. Borneleit spent 12 years as an institutional investor and investment banker, securing capital to fund multi-million dollar growth and acquisition opportunities for rapidly growing, privately held companies.
Vice President of Operations – Andy Gremillion joined DME Express shortly after the company’s formation and has been instrumental in scaling the business, hiring and training managers, and overseeing every aspect of the operations needed to support the company’s rapid growth. During Mr. Gremillion’s tenure with the company, DME Express has expanded over 1,000%. Mr. Gremillion has 15 years of management experience in healthcare and information technology. Prior to his role managing operations for DME Express, Mr. Gremillion spent 5 years in IT and communications consulting, including management and sales roles with AT&T.
Regional Manager (Louisiana, Arkansas & East Texas) – Mike Tanner joined DME Express in 2010 as a Lead Delivery Technician in our Alexandria, Louisiana market. Mr. Tanner helped expand this market and was promoted to Area Manager for Central Louisiana and the surrounding areas in 2011. In 2015, Mr. Tanner was promoted again, assuming the role as the company’s first Regional Manager for the entire State of Louisiana. He now oversees all of the Area Managers and delivery technicians for the entire State of Louisiana, as well as our operations in Arkansas and East Texas. Prior to joining DME Express in 2010, Mr. Tanner was employed as Senior Delivery Technician within the DME industry and also spent over 8 years in Law Enforcement as a Police and Safety Officer.
Chief Operating Officer – Curtis Spencer is one of the founders of DME Express and has served as Chief Operating Officer since the company’s inception. Mr. Spencer has over 20 years of healthcare sales & marketing, development and operating experience. Prior to developing one of the nation’s largest DME companies, Mr. Spencer held a senior management role with a $200 million, 20+ facility nursing home chain. Mr. Spencer began his healthcare career with a Beverly Enterprises as an Area Director of Sales and Marketing with responsibility for increasing the occupancy of a dozen long-term care facilities.
Operations Manager – Jason Payne joined DME Express in 2014 as the company’s Inventory Control & Purchasing Manager. With many years of prior healthcare operations experience, Mr. Payne quickly began making a significant impact improving processes and personnel within the organization, and was promoted to Operations Manager in June 2015. Prior to joining DME Express, Mr. Payne held a management role with the nation’s largest home respiratory company. Mr. Payne’s prior roles also included 20 years of experience in cardiovascular diagnostics management, and 10 years of sales and marketing in the Hospice and Home Health industry.
Regional Manager (Mississippi) – Barbara McMahan joined DME Express in 2013 as the company’s first Area Manager for Northern Mississippi, and was responsible for launching the company’s Tupelo and Batesville operations. With many years of prior DME and hospice experience, Ms. McMahan, quickly expanded her responsibilities within the organization and assumed a much larger role as the company’s first Regional Manager, overseeing the entire State of Mississippi. Prior to joining DME Express, Ms. McMahan was employed in the DME industry for 14 years, where she learned every aspect of the business and managed a large geographic area with multiple employees. Prior to her involvement in the DME industry, Ms. McMahan spent 6 years working in the Home Health and Hospice industry.
